I am Jim Pirrie: Author, Trainer and Coach based in Sussex, England.
I've been training and coaching since 2001, following 20 years leading multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams in high-quality technology, manufacturing and service businesses. My clients have included Big Four accounting firms, Magic Circle law firms, global research consultancies, an international civil engineering consultancy and niche professional services firms as well as individuals including barristers and local business owners.
I love teaching business professionals practical strategies to communicate skilfully and elegantly even (especially) in difficult situations.
These aren't just 'nice-to-have' skills. Poor communication creates stress, causes confusion, delays projects, makes more work and drives people to leave. All that costs money — and can damage the reputation of an individual, a team or even a business.
